The ISH was pleased to be part of the Chinese Hypertension Meeting (CHM) 2025 held in the city of Chengdu from 31 October to 2 November 2025. This year’s meeting gathered over 2,000 participants across nine halls and nearly one hundred scientific sessions.
ISH Treasurer Cesar Romero (USA) represented the ISH at Hypertension Seoul 2025, the annual meeting of the Korean Society of Hypertension, in early November. The theme of this year meeting was “Healthy BP, Healthier Life” and it was attended for more than 800 professionals. He participated in several sessions, including one where he shared original work on the role of the kidney in Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic syndrome and hypertension.

Congratulations to the Croatian Hypertension League (CHL) who organised a successful public health campaign on the island of Dugi Otok, Croatia, this summer, which screened members of the public for high blood pressure and other cardio-kidney-metabolic risk factors.
