The scientific programme

The programme revolved around four key themes:

Hypertension care with multidisciplinary teams and standardized processes

Predictive and analytical models of response to non-pharmacological and
pharmacological therapies

Evaluation and treatment of special populations

Applied research and translational medicine

Real-time translation

For the first time at an ISH Meeting, attendees could listen to real-time translation of presentations, from English to Spanish and vice-versa, using a special application based on artificial intelligence.

A call to action on treatment adherence

At ISH2024, the ISH highlighted the development of a global awareness day as a call action to improve antihypertense treatment adherence around the world. The first day will be on 27 March 2025.
