ISH part of 18th Indonesian Society of Hypertension Scientific Meeting 2024
The ISH was delighted to be part of the 18th Indonesian Society of Hypertension (InaSH) Scientific Meeting 2024 at the end of February.
We were represented at the meeting by ISH President Bryan Williams alongside Kario Kazuomi (Japan), Chia Yook Chin (Malaysia), Teo Boon Wee (Singapore) and Wook Bum Pyun (South Korea).
Prof Williams delivered a talk on ‘New Frontiers in Hypertension Treatment’ in the plenary session and was part of a joint ISH-InaSH session on new approaches in the management of hypertension.
The meeting was attended by 1,400 specialists and GPs. Its theme was ‘Hypertension 2024: Are we better off?’
At the meeting, InaSH launched a new guideline on the recognition and management of resistant hypertension in Indonesia 2024.
