I recently returned from the Japanese Society of Hypertension (JSH) 2024 annual meeting in the city of Fukuoka, where I was honoured to become President of the JSH for 2024 to 2026.

At the meeting, I highlighted the potential for close co-operation between the ISH and JSH, which I believe can be fruitful. In Fukuoka, I also presented to the audience on the latest position paper from the ISH on developments in blood pressure technology.

There is so much activity within the ISH to be proud of. Among the updates in this month’s bulletin, two videos highlight some development opportunities for ISH members: the Collaboration Exchange Scholarship for ISH2024 attendees, and the ISH Mentorship Scheme.

Please consider applying for a Collaboration Exchange Scholarship if you attended ISH2024, and consider applying to become an ISH mentee or mentor if you are not already part of the scheme.
