Vision and mission of the ISH MENA RAG (2025–2026)

The Middle East and North Africa Regional Advisory Group (MENA RAG) of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) is committed to reshaping the regional response to hypertension through unified leadership, local data generation, capacity building, and public engagement. Our mission is to reduce the burden of hypertension across MENA by driving evidence-based policy, empowering professionals, and raising awareness in alignment with global best practices.

Between 2025 and 2026, the ISH MENA RAG will advance a strategic portfolio of initiatives to address critical gaps in hypertension care, surveillance, and education. These efforts reflect a regional commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and impactful action. Activity will include online education aimed at health professionals, and awareness campaigns to enhance public understanding of hypertension. Further details will be announced in due course.

Through our initiatives, the ISH MENA RAG is building a collaborative platform that unites professionals, policymakers, and the public in pursuit of a healthier, hypertension-resilient region.
