25 Jul 2025: Council members Dagnovar Aristizabal (Colombia), Débora Colombari (Brazil) and Muscha Steckelings (Denmark) were an active part of the Brazilian Society of Hypertension (SBH) meeting which took place from 23rd to 25th July in Rio de Janeiro.

Dagnovar presented on the ISH guidelines. Muscha presented on novel aspects of the renal-angiotensin system - in a session chaired by Débora. And Débora participated in two symposia, discussing sodium intake in females using animal models of renovascular hypertension and the effect of cannabidiol on the management of experimental hypertension.

In addition, Débora Colombari and Elizabeth Muxfeldt - ISH member of President of the SBH meeting - organised the first ISH-SBH speed mentoring session, which 30 mentees were part of.
