ISN Global Kidney Policy Forums

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) held the first in a series of Global Kidney Policy Forums on 21st April 2017 in Mexico City.

The conclusions of this event can be viewed in Spanish: and in English.

As a complement to the Policy Forum, there were 2 key documents launched at the World Congress of Nephrology in Mexico City:

The Lancet Review - Global Kidney Health 2017 and beyond: a roadmap for closing the gaps in care, research and policy, and the ISN Global Kidney Health Atlas, which provide an initial overview of some of the gaps described during the Policy Forum and describe the status of global kidney care in over 130 countries.

With the Atlas, in particular, which ISN plan to update biennially, ISN are hoping, to support governments in better understanding the challenges and progress in managing kidney disease in their countries.
