ISH President receives the prestigious AHA Council on Hypertension Harriet Dustan Award

We would like to congratulate Professor Rhian Touyz (the current ISH President) on being the 2015 recipient of the Council on Hypertension of the American Heart Association Harriet Dustan Award. The Harriet Dustan Award is designed to recognise female investigators who have made outstanding contributions in the field of hypertension.

This award was established to honour the memory of Dr. Harriet Dustan, an outstanding clinician and investigator who was a tireless worker on behalf of the Council on Hypertension, and the American Heart Association for over 50 years.

Professor Touyz presented her award lecture on Friday 18th September at the Council on Hypertension 2015 Scientific Sessions.
