ISH New Investigator Committee collaboration with the AHA Trainee Advocacy Committee
Inspired by the enthusiastic feedback on our Athens and San Francisco 2014 New Investigator Meeting Programmes, the ISH New Investigator Committee (NIC) is pleased to be collaborating again this year with the Council on Hypertension of the American Heart Association (AHA) at the time of their Washington D.C. Scientific Sessions (16-19 September 2015).
At this event the NIC and the Trainee Advocacy Committee (TAC) of the Council on Hypertension will co-host Oral and Poster Presentation Award sessions. In addition the NIC will play an active role in the Trainee Advocacy Committee’s annual mixer event and the ISH Secretariat will staff an exhibition booth.
If you are attending the Council on Hypertension of the American Heart Association (AHA) September Scientific Sessions in Washington D. C. come and meet the ISH at our exhibition booth and introduce your non-member friends and colleagues so that they can find out more about joining ISH.
We look forward to reporting on this event and award winners in a future issue of the ISH e-Bulletin or Hypertension News.
Since its inception, the ISH New Investigator Committee (NIC) has organised and run annual free meetings. These bring together new investigators from around the globe to present ground-breaking cardiovascular research, share ideas, develop collaborations, interact and build relationships that cross disciplines and continents.
