We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support this exciting project - May Measurement Month. The post holder will undertake the day to day management and implementation of the MMM campaign. The role is based in Greater London, UK.

In September, more than 3500 delegates met at the ISH Scientific Meeting to discuss high blood pressure, its risks, and prevention during almost a week, where we received a very warm welcome and fantastic hospitality by Professors Kim, Kim, and Kim and their many co-workers. I invite you to read the new investigators’ reports from the meeting on pages 22-26.
This year, ISH celebrated its 50th anniversary and it was time for our Society to change President and part of the Scientific Council. Neil Poulter (London, UK) took over from Touyz (Glasgow, UK) as President and you will find their addresses on pages 3-4 and 6, respectively. The Council members (elected for 2016-20) are additionally presented on page 5, with their fields of interest.

New ASH-ISH Hypertension Guidelines Offer Practical, Clinical Information for Doctor and Patient Around the Globe
The ASH-ISH guidelines have been written to provide a straightforward approach to managing hypertension in the community, for practitioners in low and middle-income countries as well as developed countries.

Here at the University of Glasgow the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences organised an event on May 15th 2015 encouraging everyone to have their blood pressure measured and for them to ‘know their numbers’. The event was held at “One A The Square” in the main university building.

The XXII Argentina Arterial Hypertension Meeting took place in the city of Tucumán, in the Northwest of Argentina (1,000 kilometers inland from Buenos Aires), from the 23rd to 25th of April 2015. The National University of Tucumán, one of the oldest and most prestigious of the country, is based in the city.

On 13-17 March 2015, the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) hosted the Biennial World Congress of Nephrology in Cape Town, South Africa. Recognising the close relationship with hypertension, the ISN partnered with the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) to co-host a session on 'Hypertension and the metabolic syndrome: New anthropologic and pathophysiologic insights'.

It was a great honour for me to represent the ISH at the Master Course in Hypertension in Beirut. The course has been organised by Prof. Edgar Nasr (University of Balamand) in collaboration with the European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplantation Association (ERA-EDTA) and the ISH and was running from 26th to 28th March 2015.
