As the president of the Working Group on Arterial Hypertension – Bosnia and Herzegovina, I was initiator of a few manifestations in some towns of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of World Health Day – April 7th, which is dedicated to hypertension. Colleagues from Sarajevo and Mostar were very active during World Health Day.

The Argentine Society of Hypertension held its 20th Congress in the city of Rosario from 18th to 20th April under the slogan "Hypertension: beyond the numbers, a global vision". The Organizing Committee was chaired by Dr. Diego Nannini, while the Scientific Committee was led by Dr. Fernando Filippini. Sincere thanks to these committee members for giving the ISH the opportunity, via Dr. Cesar Romero, to promote the New Investigator Network in their region.

In an effort to raise awareness about the importance of day-to-day choices in the maintenance of a healthy blood pressure the ISH New Investigator Network is compiling a short video message with various members describing what efforts they take to control their blood pressure. The video is expected to be incorporated into the ISH content to be accessed by membership and the public alike. In order for this video to be successful WE NEED YOUR HELP.
