Report on ISH official satellite symposium RAAS 2016, Tokyo, September 23-24.
The ISH2016 Satellite meeting provided a stimulating forum for exchange of the latest research developments by international and Japanese leaders in this field, young investigators and postgraduate students.
It was truly an international satellite with 170 attendees from different parts of the world, including strong representation from research groups from Japan, China and Taiwan. The scientific program was tight but coordinated efficiently by Convener Akira Nishiyama and included 39 invited presentations and 46 posters presented by young investigators and students in 6 concurrent moderated poster sessions, which included a Young Investigator Competition.
