Applications are welcomed from medical doctors who are no older than 50 years of age and residing in Africa.
This event is being held in collaboration with European Society of Hypertension (ESH), Nigerian Hypertension Society (NHS), International Forum for Hypertension control and prevention in Africa (IFHA) and International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
The Seminar is intended for medical doctors up to the age of 50 and residing in Africa, who are involved in the management and/or research in hypertension or hypertension-related fields.

We will also accept abstracts on hypertension research in Africa for oral or poster presentation, to be discussed with the international faculty and participants.
Depending on sponsorship, the seminar will welcome participants from Nigeria and a maximum of two by country from other African countries, with priority for first-time candidates. The organization will cover economy travel, meals and accommodation for 3 nights, but no per-diems. Flights/transportation within Nigeria will be coordinated by local organizer Prof. B. Onwubere. International travel to Abuja with IATA companies will be coordinated by travel agency OMNIA in Leuven, Belgium; local transportation in other countries and visa costs can unfortunately not be reimbursed. We advise to check in due time for visa requirements for entry in Nigeria and sometimes for transit requirements. Exceptionally, travel can be arranged by the attendee with a refund by the ISH secretariat. The organizers should be duly informed before this option is adopted for prior approval.
