ISH Funding for Mentors and Organisations to Train Research Scholars in Hypertension: DEADLINE 27 JULY 2016
There is a critical need to establish and support high quality training programs within low/middle income countries that can enhance the early careers of researchers in the basic science, clinical and public health areas of hypertension. To help meet this need the Society is offering awards to mentors in these countries who have the expertise and resources to offer fellowship training in hypertension disciplines to young investigators.
Please find below a poster to help promote HYPERTENSION AWARENESS. Please distribute widely as we celebrate World Hypertension Day. This was produced in collaboration with the International Federation for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA).

Welcome to the ISH Mentorship Scheme story corner. Here we would like to update members on the progress of the scheme and provide stories of how new investigator members of our community are benefiting from the guidance, support, and importantly friendship of the more experienced members of the ISH. I hope you enjoy these stories and a huge thank you to all contributors to the scheme, especially mentors and mentees.
The ISH New Investigator Network recently created a platform on LinkedIn for young professionals in hypertension research to connect, find researchers in similar fields of interest and to establish exciting new collaborations and research ideas.
