WHL New Global Recognition Awards for Preventing and Controlling Hypertension

Hypertension is the world’s leading risk for death and for disability and approximately 30% of hypertension is related to excess dietary sodium (salt).

Hypertension is the world’s leading risk for death and for disability and approximately 30% of hypertension is related to excess dietary sodium (salt). The World Hypertension League is pleased to announce the creation of a series of recognition awards for individuals, organizations and interventions that have impacted the prevention, treatment and control of hypertension and also specific recognition awards for individuals, organizations and interventions that have contributed towards reducing dietary sodium.
