The World Hypertension League initiated World Hypertension Day (WHD) in 2005 to raise public awareness about hypertension throughout the world. WHD is celebrated on 17 May by the WHL, ISH and their Affiliated Societies globally. The WHD theme for 2014 is 'Know your Blood Pressure'. WHL requests that you to participate in a Global Hypertension Awareness Survey.
